• You will develop services for our extensive single sign-on infrastructure using Java 17, Spring Boot 3, Kubernetes, Kafka and Cassandra.
• You will design and develop highly scalable, high-load, and fail-safe software that runs in our own high-performance data centers around the world.
• You will work with colleagues from different departments on a daily basis, e.g. frontend developers, other backend developers, colleagues from quality assurance, as well as operations engineers and our product owner.
• You are part of the architectural decisions, write clean, maintainable and testable code and bring in new ideas to improve the code base and features.
• You will work on your own projects during „slack days“ or try out new technologies on prototypes.

• You have several years of experience in object-oriented and functional software development with Java 11 or higher and are familiar with „clean code“ and the development of distributed systems.
• You can develop secure and modern web services using Spring Boot. Good knowledge of Linux, relational databases and the NoSQL database Cassandra is an advantage.
• You are familiar with modern principles such as cloud-native, you keep your knowledge up to date regarding new trends & technologies and ideally have hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Kafka.
• You are a strong communicator, your way of working is precise and you like to take responsibility.
• You appreciate working in an agile team and enjoy learning new things.
